The rest of today: scattered showers and storms will move in the region this afternoon. Some of these storms could be strong to heavy, mainly south of the Hwy 50 and in the southeastern levels. These will be very slow showers and can lead to flooding of rivers and streams as well as fall floods

Flood guard: A flood guard was exhibited for the Pikes Peak region and the I-25 corridor until 8 p.m.
