“General hospital” star Tristan Rogers with cancer diagnosed


Fan Favorite Tristan Rogers, known for playing Robert Scorpio at ABC's General hospitalCancer was diagnosed.

Roger's representative revealed the actor's condition on Thursday.

“While he stays hopeful and works closely with his medical team in a treatment plan, this is a challenging time for Tristan and his family,” says a statement by the representative. “Since you have confronted both the emotional and the physical stress with this diagnosis, the family kindly asks for privacy and understanding. They are deeply grateful for the support and love of their friends and family. Tristan sends his love for his fans and wants to know how much he appreciates.

Rogers has played one and out of the scorpion since 1980. He won a day with Emmy for his work in the digital drama Studio City.

Rogers most recently appeared GH On November 12th, his character left Port Charles.

“Robert always had a kind of glid -free approach to everything; he is a bit intelligent” Soap Opera Digest 2018 when he returned to the role. “I work with many different people … and I think the fans will like it.”
