The game against USC emphasizes Cals nonconference -women -Basketball for women

A game in the Chase Center against the National Powerhouse USC, which was trained by the former CAL head coach Lindsay Gottlieb, shows Cals 13-game basketball time plan for women for 2025-26, which was announced this week.

The golden bears, who went 21: 9 last season and reached the NCAA tournament, will compete against USC on December 21st in the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Trojans ended the 2024-25 season in the country after performing with a 31:4 record and a big Ten title of the regular season. They were a seed No. 1 in the NCAA tournament, but lost in the quarter -finals against Uconn when Juju Watkins suffered a torn ACL early in the game.

Watkins, who was for USC last season last season, is expected to return only at the end of the 2025-26 season if she returns at all next season. Therefore, it is probably not available for the game against Cal.

Before the status of Watkins, ESPN's early top 25 ceremonial lists for 2025-26 USC placed in 12th place.

Cal will open his regular season in Paris, France, against Vanderbilt on November 3 and compete against Missouri on December 4th.

Matchups for the increase in the bar, which will be organized on November 15 and 16, still have to be announced, but the other three teams involved are Harvard, Oakland University and North Carolina-Charlotte. The second day of the event will probably exist a matchup between Cal and Harvard with 24: 5 last season and reached the NCAA tournament.

Cal will take part in Frisco, Texas, on Hopopfest 2025 on November 24th and 26th, although the opponents of the bears were not determined for this event.
