Kate Beckinsale announces her mother Judy Loe's death


Kate Beckinsale mourns the death of her mother Judy Loe.

The 51 -year -old actress shared on Thursday, July 17, about a touching Instagram tribute that her mother died in old age that her mother died on Tuesday, July 15th.

In her post, Beckinsale said that she only shared the news about her mother's death because she had to register a death certificate from which she knows that she will become “soon public records”.

“She died in my arms after immeasurable suffering in the night of July 15,” said Beckinsale.

Although the article contains photos and videos from Loe, Beckinsale said that she “neither selected the best photos nor the best videos because I can not bear my camera role going through.”

“I deeply apologize to one of her friends who find it out this way or through the press, but I can't go through your phone. I'm paralyzed. Jew was the compass of my life, my dearest friend,” said Beckinsale.

“The vastness and huge heart of this tiny woman have touched so many people who love her very much. In many ways she was brave and sometimes forgives too much and believes in the ultimate well -being of the people and the world is so dark without it that it is almost impossible to wear it,” she continued.

Beckinsale ended her contribution by writing a personal message to her mother: “Mom, I love you so much. This was my greatest fear since I was dead for five years and I am here. Oh my mom. I'm so sorry.”

Already in February 2025 Beckinsale returned to Instagram after he had put all of her contributions to ask for prayers for her mother.

“I would not return to Instagram,” wrote Beckinsale in the caption, “but everyone who has a replacement prayer or a magic or a miracle or a sunbeam sends it to my mom, my most extraordinary, warlike, generous, modest, loving, unique, irreplaceable mom.” She did not explain her mother's health at the time in the post.
