HPD grows through the growing crime of West Oahus by adding 12 officers | Crime & dishes

West Oahu, Hawaii (Iceland News) – The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) adds 12 civil servants to serve West Oahu, and answered the municipality for help with violent crimes.

Shooting, stitches, violent attacks have the residents who say that enough is enough.

Rade Vanic, head of HPD Interim, said that he had heard these calls and plans to do something about it. On July 17, HPD announced that 12 officials are added to District 8, which is West Oahu. These 12 officers have just completed the academy, so brand new officers will serve their community.

“One of the things I asked our management analysts is exactly what the service requires,” said Chief Vanic. “We have found that District 8 has one of the highest services for the service. So I asked our support service Bureau to work with our District 8 major to add two more blows.”

Chief Vanic pointed out the entire development that takes place in the region as a likely reason for increasing calls in this area. He also advised that HPD works with state and federal partners to improve the patrols in this area.

“Every neighborhood deserves to feel and support,” said Chief Vanic. “By strategically expanding our presence, we strive to honor the commitment of our partnership, transparency and service with Aloha.”
