There will be no new music from Dolly Parton in the near future, but the audience can still enjoy their art.

During a recent conversation with Khloé Kardashian for her podcast “Khloé in Wonder Land”, Parton thought about her grief about her late husband Carl Dean, who died in March at the age of 82.

The Country music legend said when it comes to songwriting: “Some things I wanted to start, but I can't do it.”

“I'll get it later, but I'm just so wonderful, nice ideas. But I think I won't end it,” she said. “I can't do it at the moment because I have got so many other things and I can't afford the luxury now.”

“It all starts with a story or a song,” said Parton.

“I think this is one of the reasons why I love to write because I feel that I am connected to God exactly then,” she said.

Kardashian enjoyed her conversation.

“Dolly, you are even more magical! (If that is possible at all),” she wrote in the caption of a video of her and parton. “I still have the feeling that I dream!”

Parton gave her fans something that he can look forward to. She recently terminated an upcoming residence in the Colosseum in the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“I haven't worked Vegas in years and always loved singing there,” she said in an explanation that was shared in the press release about the residence. “I'm looking for the shows in the Caesars Colosseum and I hope they are too. See you there!”

Parton's last residence in Las Vegas was 32 years ago. The new shows are planned for December.
