Death on the Nile Tour throws out his Hercule Poirot

Casting for the role of Hercule Poirot in Great Britain and Ireland tour of Death on the Nile was unveiled.

Lucy Bailey heads Ken Ludwig's adaptation of Agatha Christie's story, presented by Fiery Angel in collaboration with Agatha Christie Limited. Set up on a cruise under the Egyptian sun, Death on the Nile Follow Poirot as he examines a murder that interrupts a honeymoon trip.

Production marks the European premiere of Ludwig's version after earlier tours of And then there was none And Murder on the Orient Express.

Mark Hadfield will take on the leading role for the tour and say today: “I'm very happy and I am happy to play the legendary role of Hercule Poirot in the upcoming production of Agatha Christie Death on the Nilestaged by Lucy Bailey and produced by fiery angel. I am also amazed that this production, which Ken Ludwig adapted, will be on tour in Great Britain and Ireland, and undoubtedly admired by those who already admire Christie's genius, and those who cannot yet discover are enjoyed. “

The tour begins on September 26th at Lowry in Salford with a national press evening on October 9th in the Richmond Theater. The run included dates at chichester Festival Theater, Cheltenham everman theatre, Malvern Festival Theater, Aberdeen's His Majesty's Theater, Glasgow Theater Royal, York Grand Opera House, Sheffield Lyceum Theater, Edinburgh Festival Theater, Brighton Theater Royal, The Alexandra Birmingham, Nottingham Theater Royal, Dublin's Gaiety Theater, Belfast Grand Opera House, Norwich Theater Royal, Cambridge Arts Theater and Will Finish in the Theater Royal Plymouth on May 23, 2026.

Another casting will be announced. Production was designed by Mike Britton with lighting by Oliver Fenwick, Sound by Mic Pool and Movement by Liam Steele. Lucy Waterhouse is Associate Director and Helena Palmer Casting Director.
