Shivajinagar U -Bahn station roof after the rain; Officials promise quick measures

An X (formerly Twitter) User on Friday went to the microblogging site and published an idea of a leaky roof on the Shivajinagar -Ubahn station in Pune. “Roof that leaves @Metrorailpune and through the Shivajinagar station!

Another user commented that there are many such water leaks at the U -Bahn stations in the city. He wrote: “Very few care. People are happy that the system is ready and ready for operation. But they do not pay attention to details. The fact is that the work done is not completely unusual. Those like them who carefully observe things would notice cheap quality and unfinished work in many places.”

The Free Press Journal contacted the U -Bahn officials who said that they had identified these positions and would do the work at the earliest.

Hemant Sonawane, Executive Director (administration and public relations), Maha Metro, said: “We identified the problem. Around 20 to 25 places were identified at various U -Bahn stations. A dedicated technical team was used to solve the problem as soon as possible.”

Previously, the commuters had asked the authorities to extend the working hours of the U -Bahn until midnight in order to make those who work late layers, to make them and ensure that they can come home conveniently. The U -Bahn is currently operated on from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
