The full list of star salaries

The full list of star salaries

The BBC has published the salaries of its highest paid stars as part of its annual report.

The ex -match of the day moderator Gary Lineker, who excused Zionism in May after repeating a social media post, which contained an illustration that was classified as anti -Semitic, was again the same amount of 1,350,000 to 1,354.99 GBP -the same amount in the previous year.

He succeeds Zoe Ball, the former moderator of Radio 2 Breakfast, who also left her BBC Radio 2 breakfast show in December – three quarters of the passage of the financial year, which means that her salary is lower than in the previous year – but already earned about £ 515,000 £ 519,999. In May she organized a Saturday show in the same station.

The match of the day expert Alan Shearer took home 440,000 – £ 444,999 in third place, while the fourth radio -1 moderator Greg James received 425,000 – £ 429,999. Joint Fifth on the list are the question time Host Fiona Bruce and the today's program of the Today program, both of which earned £ 410,000 -£ 414,999. The wages of all four stairs compared to the previous year.

Some famous BBC faces such as Rylan Clark, Claudia Winkleman, David Mitchell and Rob Brydon do not create the list, since the BBC does not have to disclose the salaries of stars that are paid for via production companies such as BBC Studios that are classified as commercial.

Here you will find the list of presenters who, according to BBC accounts, have earned more than £ 178,000.

The symbols ▼, ▲ and ➤ Show whether their content has moved up, below or has remained the same. A ★ symbol represents a moderator that makes a new appearance or re -entry into the list.
