Parkway East highlights the street plan for road work

A lot of street work is planned this weekend and next week when the weather stays dry. Here is the collapse:

  • Birmingham Bridge – The bridge will be reduced in every direction from Friday to 6 a.m. on Saturday from 6 p.m. on Saturday, while the crews are preparing for the next phase of the work on Saturday morning to replace the expansion insights on the bridge that crosses the Monongahela River between Pittsburgh's south side and Oakland. The traffic in both directions has been in the lanes to the south since May and will now move to the northern traces in Oakland so that the crews in the lanes can work in the south. Temporary bicycle traces remain open. The 4.1 million dollar project should be completed in September.
  • Parkway East 1 -The Rodi Road in Penn Hills will be closed from Friday from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Monday for grinding and paving between Maple Lane and Business Route 22. The work must also close the outcome of the Outbound Parkway Ost into the Rodi Road and the outgoing on-ramp from Rodi to the Parkway Ost. The incoming ramp from Rodi to Parkway East will be closed on Saturday from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. The work is part of the 70.1 million dollar project to improve Parkway Ost between Churchill and Monroeville.
  • Parkway East 2 – The bridge inspection closes a lane in every direction from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday between the Allied Boulevard and the Second Avenue Exits. All ramps remain open.

Next week

  • McKnight road -Suggort restrictions will be available in both directions from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., so that between Ross Municipal Drive in Ross and Venture Street on the north side of Pittsburgh is required. Lindy Paving ends working on a 27 million dollar project that paved the highway and carried out other improvements between venture and perrymont drive in McCandless.
  • Parkway East 1 -The work this week at the retaining wall directly before the outgoing end of the Squirrel Hill Tunnel as part of the 95 million dollar project for the replacement of the Commercial Street Bridge. The work from 3 a.m. to 2 p.m. closes the right lane and the shoulder output between the tunnel and the edgewood Swissvale output. The outgoing on-ramp from the Beechwood Boulevard at the other end of the tunnel is also closed.
  • Parkway East 2 – Bridge inspections will take place near the Churchill exchange on Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Andy Warhol Bridge – The bridge, which the Seventh Street is located above the Allegheny River between the city center of Pittsburgh and the north side, will be closed for routine inspections from Monday to 3 p.m. on Friday and next week. Allegheny County will be a redirection transaction, which on both sides of the Warhol Bridge almost identical Robert Clemente or Rachel Carson Bridges using Warhol Bridge.
