Marcus Freeman Notebook | Good morning America

Marcus Freeman Notebook | Good morning America

Conference media days take place across the country because the calendar is closer to the start of the autumn camp for college football.

Notre Dame is media for two days in New York City on Thursday, since Marcus Freeman, Jordan Fasis, Jeremiyah Love, Leonard Moore, Eli Raridon, Adon Shuler and Aamil Wagner will occur on national shows and create content with prominent social media influencers.

Freeman came to Michael Strahan in Good Morning America early Thursday morning early Thursday morning.

What he can do to get Notre Dame over the hurdle to win a title, and who is the greatest competition for the Fighting Irish this season:
“I think your way of thinking is always preparing for the first, right? Try to go 1-0. You know as a player, you can't worry about the last. You have to take care of them. I think our greatest competition will probably be us, right?

“The boys work tirelessly. They will have a few days off here and then they will come back and it is autumn camp season.”

When he won the coach of the year last year and what he owes his success:
“The people. The people with whom they work with. The players. At the end of the day, I often tell our entire program that they are successfully individually glorious?

How growing up in a military family shaped him:
“I think about growing up, and my father installed me routine, get up early, discipline, toughness, work morality. These are things that as a father and as a trainer and adult, which I indulge in myself, but also in my children, but also in my children.

About how he brings the demands, father and head coach to be at Notre Dame:
“It is a partnership. It's a mix. For me, I'm here and she is at home with the six children and takes care of things back in South Bend, but we let it work, right? It is a partnership. I try to mix my home life as much as possible with my working life.

“That means if my wife can bring one or six children to the office and they can be with our players and that I can get the chance to see them, it is important. And it is a victim. I would not be able to be here if she is not taking care of the things outside of a head coach at Notre Dame and I am grateful forever.”

On his prediction for Notre Dame in 2025:
“You know that I will say that the coaches are answering. 1: 0. We'll go 1-0. I think everyone is at home and strives to win and dream of winning every single game that they play, but that wastes time, instead of dreaming, to win every game that they play, they have the work to win the first to win the first.”
