Fall River, Mass. The authorities on Friday, the number of fatalities revised in a fire that broke a facility for assisted living in the River on Sunday evening.

The Bristol County public prosecutor said that it had incorrectly reported the death of a 10 person in the flame in Gabriel House “due to a misunderstanding with a medical authority”.

The identity of a victim, a 70-year-old woman, has not yet been released publicly because the next relative is not yet pending.

Jeffrey Bacon, fire chief from Fall River, said the scene was difficult and chaotic when the crews arrived on site for the first time because several residents were hanging from windows and doors and were waiting to be saved.

The 100-units for supervised living was opened in 1999. Some photos on his Facebook page show decent rooms, but older-looking carpets and furniture.

Inspection reports published on Thursday by the city's fire investigations were not determined in the Gabriel House for the return to the 2019 reports.
