Macintyre knows the score because the most important opportunities are dedicated

“There is potential. It could be time for everyone,” said world number 14.

“I feel happy, confident, comfortable. I will go out and give my best shot until Sunday afternoon. I'm not afraid. I will not return.

“Hopefully the 69th, 70th hole, I have a chance. And if I have a chance, I'll roll the cube.”

Macintyre complained that Putts did not fell for him on Thursday, but his work on the Greens did not have to be outstanding on Friday to pick up blows.

Instead, it gave him a better accuracy of the tee to get closer to his approximation shots. His longest putt was shy of seven feet and he never got sandy shoes.

Near area Birdies on three, five and seven roared him to three, two more suddenly raised these components at 12 and 13.

A fallen shot on 16 – his only of the day – was immediately recovered before Par was completed in the last one great 66.

“For almost all 18 holes today I felt that yesterday I did what I did in the first nine,” said Macintyre. “I played aggressive, but at the same time played clever.

“I have the feeling that I want to be where I want to be, and these are the tournaments in which I want to compete very hard.

“How long my career will be as long, I want to do that. I will give it my best shot until I will give it up.”
