The NBC meteorologist Dylan Dreyer separates from her husband Brian Fichera.

The third hour “Today” Cohost announced the separation of the couple in a contribution from July 18 to Instagram hours after the end of the show Friday and wrote about a sunset photo that “has shared my family with them for many years – the heights and depths, the ups and downs and all blessings and beautiful memories.

“For this reason, I would like to tell you that Brian and I made the decision a few months ago,” Dreyer wrote. “We started as friends and will remain the closest friends. The most important thing is that we will keep up with our three wonderful boys with nothing but love and respect.”

The “Today” star (43) and the 38 -year -old Fichera, who bound the knot in 2012, are parents on three sons: Calvin, Oliver and Rusty.

In September of this year, Boston's Dreyer changed the local news channel WHDH to the NBC News, where the couple started dating and Dreyer had worked since 2007. Before that, she worked at other stations in Erie, Pennsylvania and Providence, Rhode Island.

While Fichera is mostly missing in her Instagram post this year, Dreyer wrote “Happy Father's Day Bri !!” In a caption on June 15 with a family selfie.

In January 2023, the couple was the subject of an article from Today.com about the “secret to keep their marriage strong”.

“Golf is what we do together. We have a few drinks, we laugh. We remember why we fell in love,” said Dreyer today. “Then we go home and it goes back to the family.”

It was a difficult year for the third hour “Today” from NBC. In May, the husband Uche ojeh from Dreyer's third hour of Sheinelle Jones died of an aggressive form of brain cancer with 45.

“With profound sadness we share this morning that Uche ojeh, the husband of our girlfriend and 'Today' co-moderator Sheinelle Jones, died after a courageous fight against an aggressive form of brain cancer called Glioblastoma,” said the main tanker Savannah Guthrie on May 23 “today”.

In a social media contribution on the same day, Dreyer wrote an open letter “To my dear friend @Sheinelle_o … I wish I had the words to help them feel better.”

“I wish I could help you to absorb all the love and prayers that we send to you and your family. I am blessed to know the uch, and this picture summarizes the love and support and joy that you shared with each other. May your heart be comforted by your memories. They are both in our hearts and in our heads,” added Dreyer.
