TASKARFAFTEL licks petroleum in Clallam County Creek – Kiro 7 News Seattle

A tanker crashed from the US Highway 101 to the Indian Creek in Clallam County on Friday and, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash occurred at Milepost 238, where the truck left the street and ended upside down in the stream.

The authorities said that the vehicle had started to leave oil after the crash.

The Washington State Department of Ecology has been notified and reacts to the assessment of the environmental impact of the spill.

Officials have not yet said how much fuel has been leaked or how long the cleaning could take.

As a precaution, emergency crews transported the driver to the Olympic Medical Center.

No serious injuries were reported.

Traffic changes through the area, while the crews continue the cleaning and examination.
