The Mountain Home Board of Education holds the meeting in July and shows plans for the coming school year

On July 17, the Mountain Home Board of Education regularly held session with a focus on school companies, academic advances and preparations for the new academic year.

The most important presentations included financial and registration reports, updates of the facilities and academic data, including Summators of the Atlas and the highlights of summer enrichment. The nurse Ashley Looney was recognized for the achievement of the National Board Certified School Nurse Distinction, and Gerald Gaige from Baxter County Airport was presented on initiatives for the formation of StEM.

The action points included the approval of offers for school supply and food service, contract information for 2024–2026 and a contract support contract. The Board of Directors also passed updates to the section 7 of the guidelines and approved a new furnishing plan for submitting.

During the discussion of the board, the superintendent Dr. Jake Booth with the fact that he was invited to talk about school facilities in a local podcast and asked the board members to deal with the community on important questions.

The superintendent updates included employee preparations for the first day of school, which is planned for August 12. The most important events include a drop-in meeting with Ms. Dewey on August 1, the professional development on August 4 and the regular meeting of the board of directors on August 7.
