The only official John Wick game will soon be gone forever

Licing in video games will always be a burden for you with any durability, and that seems to be the case again.

John Wick Hex, the only official John Wick game out there (which is quite confusing in itself), will be solved forever on all platforms.

There is nothing specific saying, it is due to the expiry of the John Wick license, but the sudden news means that it is not difficult to see that this is the reason for this.

The message published on the Steam page of the game is simply as follows:

“John Wick Hex will be removed from sale on all platforms from July 17, 2025.

After July 17, 2025, existing owners of John Wick Hex can continue to access the game via their digital libraries (PC/console) and/or physical copies (console).

July 17th is only a few more days away while I write this, which doesn't give you much time to get a copy that you can add to your library if you have ever thought about it. Admittedly, I've never played John Wick Hex, but I only have a copy that is now hidden in my digital library in the event.

Probably the distance from the sale also includes physical copies for Xbox and PlayStation, so that it applies there.

John Wick Hex is not the kind of game that I had expected from the franchise and is pursuing a strategy approach to the run-and-gun that you might expect. It is described as “chess” and the time is your enemy.

It also contains voice equipment from Ian Mcshane and the late Lance Reddick, who repeats her roles from the films and Troy Baker.

It is sad to see, which is probably a license problem that kills the continued existence of another game, but it happens. We saw it closer to the Forza Horizon franchise at home, for example a game that is interspersed with both music and car licenses.

Licenses always have an expiry date; This is just the nature of the animal. ~~Unfortunately the game was not reduced as they were~~T, which would undoubtedly be a nice gesture and as many as possible gives the opportunity to grab it as long as you can.

Take it on Steam or Epic Games for PC or in the Xbox Store now before it has disappeared forever.
