One of the most underestimated Netflix series, Sweet Magnolia Is nothing more than a pleasant drama about good people who do good things. That sounds boring, but during her four seasons the show has provided enough entertaining moments to remain one of the streamers' sturdy, the streamers.

The show focuses on friendship between three friends: Maddie Townsend (Joanna Garcia Swisher), a mother of three children who recently separated from her husband Bill (Chris Klein); Helen Decatur (Heather Headley) a successful lawyer who thinks about a change of career; and Dana Sue Sullivan (Brooke Elliott), a cook that runs your own restaurant. The three women navigate life, love and everything in between, while they live in an idyllic city in South Carolina.

Sweet Magnolia is romantic escapism, but it is well done and the three leads are really charming. The fourth season was premiered on February 6, 2025 and with its ongoing success, it will definitely return for another season.
