In-n-out president, the family from California pulls out

In-out President Lynsi Snyder announced that she and her family move out of California because the company is planning an expansion to the east.

What we know:

Snyder announced the move in an episode of the podcast with Allie Beth Stuckey, which was broadcast on Friday.

“We build an office in Franklin [Tennessee,] So I actually pull out there, ”said Snyder.

Snyder, the granddaughter of the founder Harry and Esther Snyder, grew up in Northern California before moving to South California, the part of her decision she said came to her family.

“There are many great things in California, but raising a family here is not easy,” said Snyder. “Doing business is not easy here now.”

The background story:

In-n-out announced an extension to Tennessee in 2023. In addition to the “Eastern Territory office” in Franklin, Tennessee, the company will open several restaurants in the state.

At the beginning of this year, in-n-out also announced that it would move his company center from Irvine back to Baldwin Park, where the restaurant was founded in 1948. While the original plan existed to close the Irvine office by 2029, Snyder said in her recent interview that in-out the Irvine office would close by 2030.

What's next:

Snyder said that the majority of the in-n-out restaurants would still be in California. In May, the company announced that seven new restaurants joined the United States, four of which are in California. Other locations are also planned in Washington and New Mexico.

When Snyder moved to the east, she speculated in the podcast on potential future locations elsewhere.

“Florida asked us and we still say no. The East Coast states say no. We can reach Tennessee from our Texas warehouse,” said Snyder and added: “Texas can reach some other states.”
