When Tyler, the Creator's pop-up show in Boston last autumn, was a goal for his October album “Chromakopia”, the show on Tuesday evening in TD Garden was the gate to his heart pounding.

The garden shuddered with bass during a rap-rock alarm bell called “Noid”, in which the California musician (born Tyler Okecam) moved like an animatron appearing. The venue thundered again when he promised his passion for creativity on “Darling, I” and confessed that “nobody could fulfill me like this music [expletive] does.”

What else would you expect from a 34-year-old artist who navigates the intensity of what he described as a “30S album”? And while Okomma was wearing the same mask as the one that he had shaped for the cover type “Chromakopia”-a “Twilight Zone”-Sasere-Accessoire and put on his face-there was no covering up of tulery on Tuesday, nor the talent that was able to convey the full strength of this turmoil.

Topics of the doubt, unrest and artistic engagement fell into a teething rumbling during the first of the two consecutive shows from Okeca in TD Garden. The spectacle began with the march of “St. Chroma”, which was adorned into a main stage in its neat turn to military interior fabrics and was equipped on a main stage with warehouse tank walls (no different from the setup for the local show of the last autumn, where it appeared with actual warehouse containers).

But the artist seemed to save his most urgent achievements for the main stage, and he started the catwalk to transform the last of his endurance into a few more highlights: an A -cappella playback of “Memory, I was dead” and a final eruption about “New Magic Change”. His choice to put the turbulent landing? “I hope you find your way home”, a softer (but no less vulnerable) finale that also closes “Chromakopia”.

In the middle of the chaos it felt just right to end the show with a blessing rather than with a bang.
