Blood Orange Enlists Lorde, Caroline Polachek, Turnstees Brendan Yates and more for a new album Essex Honey


Devonté Hynes has officially announced Essex HoneyHis first Bloodorange studio album since 2018. Hynes wrote, produced and recorded his follow-up Negro swanAnd he received contributions from: Lorde, Caroline Polachek, Daniel Caesar, Mustafa, shooting style front man Brendan Yates, Tariq al-Sabir, Ian Isiah, Tirzah, Eva Tolkin, Wet Singerin Kelly Zutrau, Liam Benzvi, Amandla Stenberg, Naomi Scott and Acclaimed Author Zadie Smith.

In order to bring together the album announcement, Hynes shared two new songs: “somewhere in between” and “Mind loaded”, the latter of which contain Caroline Polachek, Lorde and Mustafa. Listen the two new songs below. See the cover art for work for Essex Honey below too.

Essex Honey Is on August 29th over RCA. Hynes' recent work on Lorde and gymnastics follows the new albums. He recently shared the first single of his album, “The Field”, and announced a tour.

Since Negro swanHynes published the mixtape Engels pulse And an EP called Four songs. He also shared several soundtrack albums, including for the for mainstreamPresent In the treatmentAnd Gardener master.
