19-year-old for assault in May near Fairdale | Crime reports

Louisville, Ky. (WDRB)-A 19-year-old is charged after a shootout near Fairdale in May for assault.

The Louisville Metro police arrested Dorian Lovett on Friday and accused him of assault and willful risk.

LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell said that shortly after 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 4th, near Fairdale, a report about a shootout in the 5900 block of the New Cut Road in the Happy Likors.

The police found a man who was shot several times. He was brought to the Uofl hospital with injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.

Lovett is recorded at Louisville Metro Corrections.
