Hand advertising: Maurice de Mawiac X Racquet Rallymaster III tennis issue clock

The rally master is Maurice de Mauriac's The tennis clock watch collection, which has already been produced in some limited runs. This specific version is the Maurice de Mauriac Rallymaster III.And in this form it is limited to 100 pieces and arrives with two straps plus a pink tennis ball. The late Daniel Dreifuss, who founded Maurice de Mauriac, was a committed tennis fan and regularly visited Wimbledon and other events. When he was still alive, he created the first guard on Maurice de Mauriac tennis-a collaboration with tennis player Stan Smith. After his death in 2023, his sons took over the brand and continued the tennis clock tradition. This new generation of Maurice de Mauriac Tennis watches debut in cooperation with the tennis lifestyle magazine and store as a rally master i model batwith a dial concept created by designer Carlton Dewoody.

Wrap clocks and tennis decades go back for decades. Rolex is perhaps the most prominent brands, which is sponsored with his sponsorship for most important tournaments and legends such as Roger Federer, but brands like Gerald Charles, Richard Mille and Rado have also dealt with the campaign. Maurice de Mauriac's rallymaster III is not so much a watch that can be worn when playing tennis (since it does not apply for special qualities for shock resistance), but a product for tennis fans who consider the game (and its accessories) as part of their lifestyle. Therefore, the clocks of rally master I, II and III were all collaboration with a publication/business like together bat.

Carlton Dewoody had an entertaining job with the dial design, which imagines the face as similar to a tennis court. The dial contains a motif of the court network in the middle, together with the familiar green floor and the round yellow hourly markings, all of which look like tennis balls. In fact, the design is a bit artistic and conceptual, but in a good way. I like the personality of this watch and think that your quirky stimuli are visually effective, and the experience of wearing to feel comfortable.

Although there is no special shock protection system in the LANDERON caliber 24 automatic mechanical movement (which is about two days with about two days), the rally master III is a fairly comfortable sports watch. The 39 -mm -wide breast cover is compact enough to carry when playing without making your way in the way, and the stick “flex -textile” -with -be with which the clock is equipped is elastic and is designed so that it is convenient, even if it is firmly worn out. In other words, you can probably get away with the wearing of the rally master III during the tennis because it is comfortable and ergonomic.

The 39 mm wide housing is also about 12 mm thick and has a 47 mm long distance from lug-to-lug. The housing is water resistant to 100 meters with a screwing gold -colored crown. Both the crown and the fallback have the racket logo, although the graphic on the caseback in which it is printed on the sapphire crystal exhibition window is much more pronounced. Much of the movement of the movement blocks, but Landeron mechanisms are not known exactly for their extraordinary beauty. Rather, I believe that Maurice de Mauriac selected this special mechanical movement because she has a secondary level with a secondary dial in the 9 o'clock position. It also has a date indicator window at the 3 o'clock position. Via the date window there is a magnifying glass window on the sapphire crystal, which is supported when reading the date. How this dial is designed, unfortunately, this means that you cannot really read the date from the angles, since the date disk is comparatively lower. The good news is that the date disk matches the color of the dial and if it looks directly at the dial, reading makes reading significantly easier.

Maurice de Mauriac is a boutique watch maker surgery in Zurich, and an interesting proof of this is a charming piece of text on the dial, which adds the “Swiss” label in the lower part of the face “with love”. (It is “Swiss with love”.) It is a friendly feeling that makes it easy for me to forget how much the font “rally master” is clearly inspired by similar texts used by Omega for different product names. The watch colors are also a bit unorthodox, but they actually work much better together than I would have thought for pink, green, beige and brown.

The other strap, which is delivered with the Maurice de Mauriac Rallymaster III clock, is a traditional (i.e. not a stretchy) brown structured leather strap. The 20 mm wide straps are equipped with quickly published spring rods, so it is easy to replace them. Although the watch is equipped with a pink tennis ball (signs Maurice de Mauriac and Racquet), it is not equipped with a suitable pink tennis racket. If you look at the first rally master I and II, your color is more on women's carrier. While Rallymaster III certainly does not stumble with Machismo, it is probably the male of the rally master models so far (although the Rallymaster Korea Open is another good example of a color palette that can address both men and women). The first two Maurice de Mauriac rally masters were a comparative good business, were under 2,000 Swiss francs, but are already sold out. The newer price for Maurice de MaMAC X -Racquet -Rallymaster -is a little more, but not too much. Price for the fun of looking at and wearing tennis issues Maurice de Mauriac X Racquet Rallymaster III III Is CHF 2,200. Find out more on the Maurice de Mauriac website.
