The astronomer, the company in the center of the Coldplay scandal, in which his CEO with his Chief Human Resources Officer Canoodling was caught, has finally made an explanation on this topic.

More than 24 hours after a jumbootone camera at a Coldplay concert in Boston, Massachusetts, the married CEO of the software company, Andy Byron, started with his weapons for the company's HR boss, Kristin Cabot, on the incident that has conquered the Internet in storm.

The software -startup company said on X: “The astronomer is obliged to the values and culture that have led us since our foundation. Our managers are expected to determine the standard for behavior and accountability. The board of directors has initiated a formal examination of this matter and we will have additional details in order to share in a lot.”

It also denied rumors that another of his employees, Alyssa Stoddard, was there, and refused wrong reports that Byron granted an apology.

“Alyssa Stoddard was not in the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not published an explanation, reported that everyone would be wrong,” said the company.

Both Byron and Cabot were immediately put on vacation, said a source of Axios familiar with the situation. In addition, the delayed reaction of the astronomer was partly due to slow resignation and exit package negotiations, another source told the outlet.

Byron has been the astronomer since 2023. In 2024, Cabot joined the company as the head of the HR department. In an announcement on the cessation of Cabot, Byron said: “Kristin's extraordinary leadership and deep specialist knowledge in talent management, the commitment of the employees and the scaling of people will be critical if we continue our fast path.”

In the same press release, Cabot said: “In my conversations with Andy and the Astronomer leadership team, I was energized about the possibilities that exist here.”
