You have to watch these 3 popular Hulu films and shows (19th to 20th July)

Netflix has no monopoly for unexpected films that break out in the charts.

This week, Hulu has a few films that were bombed in cinemas at the beginning of this year, but both protrude to the top 15 films and series on the website.

Both flicks found their way to the list of the three popular Hulu films and TV shows this week, which they should look at now.

Our third selection is a gripping true crime story about a kidnapping that remains unsolved three decades later.

“The amateur” (2025)

The amateur Hardly a blip at the box office in 2025, but it blows into the air on Hulu. Rami Malek Headlines the film as a CIA cryptographer Charlie Heller. Charlie is about as far from an action hero as you can, and he is happily married to Sarah (Superhuman'S Rachel Brosahnhan) until it is murdered by terrorists.

Charlie's superiors in the CIA laugh in his face when he tells them that he chased his wife's murderers and wants to confront them. Even Charlies Mentor, Robert “Hendo” Henderson (Laurence Fishburne), does not believe that Charlie has what it takes to go out in the field. But there is more than one way to kill a man without a weapon, and Charlie's critics won't laugh long.

“In the lost countries” (2025)

In the lost countries has an unusual family tree in which it is based on a story by game of Thrones Creator George RR Martin and staged by resident Evil Helmer Paul WS Anderson. That is why the action and staging in this film are so very similar to the adaptations of Anderson's video game.
