It is unlikely that thousands of Afghans who are included in a list of people who try to flee the Taliban will receive compensation after their details were accidentally leaked.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense (Mod) said that the government “were” legal steps or an offer for compensation “and added that this was” hypothetical claims “.

It was also reported that the mod will not offer the person concerned.

As LBC only reported this week, the data injury, in which it became an unprecedented program for the Afghan moving and auxiliary policy (ARAP) published around 18,714 applicants for the Afghan movement policy (Arap), which was an unprecedented advertising regulation that was afraid that the Taliban was able to adapt the refugees for the reprisers.

The establishment of a secret program, the Afghanistan Response Route (ARR), was also brought to Great Britain.

However, the Mod spokesman pointed out an independent review that found that there was now little risk that it would be sufficient to appear on the leaked table in order to be targeted by the Taliban.

It is expected that hundreds of data protection claims will be submitted at the beginning of this week to hear the High Court hearing that a company based in Manchester already had several hundred potential customers.

Earlier Afghan data injuries led the mods, whose details were leaked, compensated the mod.

At the beginning of this month, before the superinjunation prevent the reporting on the leak of 2022, the Minister of Army Luke Pollard announced compensation of 1.6 million.

Mr. Pollard said that the mod had agreed to pay each of the 265 people whose details were sent by the government in September 2021.

In this violation, the government was also fined by the information commissioner office (ICO) with a fine of 350,000 GBP.

However, the ICO has announced that there will be no further measures in relation to the larger violation of 2022, with information officer John Edwards in view of the “high degree of public examination” that the mod was already exposed.

The government expects a total of 6,900 people to be brought to Great Britain as part of the ARR system, with the cost of reaching 850 million pounds.

Together with the Afghan nationals, details were compromised to more than 100 British officials, including Special Forces and MI6 employees.
