Gainsborough Savoy Cinema is opened as part of a renovation of 9 million GBP

A four -screen cinema opened in the center of Gainsborough.

It is part of a renovation of 9 million GBP of the city of Lincolnshire and also includes two new shops and a restaurant.

The event location with 330 seats operated by Savoy Cinemas is located on the market square and has a pedestrian connection to the Marshall's Yard shopping area.

Sally Grindrod-Smith, director of planning, regeneration and municipalities of the district council of West Lindsey (WLDC), said that “the new one would reconnect with the old one”.
