Usyk against Dubois 2: Fight forces from the boxing world including Bellew, Hearn & Frampton

Daniel Dubois is looking for revenge and to write history when he fights against Oleksandr Usyk in the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

The Londoner aims to record the WBA (Super), WBO and WBC World title from USYK for its collection and become the first British heavyweight that has become undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.

The 27 -year -old Dubois was stopped by undefeated Usyk in 2023, but has since won three fights in a row and has collected the IBF world championship title.

Can the Ukrainian with Uyk in the dying embers of his career of his career at the age of 38 at the age of 38 prove a point against a reinforced dubois? Or will the Englishman announced himself as the best heavyweight in the world?

BBC Sport asked the world of boxing for its predictions.

“Usyk to win between eight and 12 between the rounds, but I think he has to get off the ground for the first time in his career.

“Dubois is with confidence at an all -time high. Usyk will need six or seven laps to strike it out of it, but until eight or nine it will be done and then it is about whether he can continue to record what Usyk spends afterwards.”

“Dubois has a real shot here. He has great self -confidence at the moment and sooner or later the time of father Usyk can get. Patriotism aside I think Usyk will drain it and keep rounds between the nine and 12 years.”

“We all know that Daniel is a better fighter than he was the first time that he fought Usyk and talk to people about his form of shape – but nobody talks about USYK's form. His last five wins are two against Fury, Dubois and two against Joshua.

“The guy is incredible and I have given up support against him. Usyk wins a comprehensive point decision.”

“Dubois encounters a genius and a large period. The equalizer could be old – Usyk is now 38 and this is a game of a young man, but I will go to Uyk with a wide range of points.”

“Dubois has to get this jump going, push it against the ropes and start combinations – do not waste blows and stay eager. Remember, he is the true heavyweight and must press it.

“Usyk is number one, a great boxer and a great champion. If you come, you have to take it in and be first and last with your blows.”

“If Dubois ends up something similar to this body and tracks a little better, he will get victory and an interruption.”

“I have to choose Uyk on points. I want dubois to win, but Usyk is a generation talent, his skills and his IQ are just so special.”

“Usyk is a master and Dubois is full of confidence. I tend to Usyk in this case. Maybe a late interruption or to points, but I'm not excluding dubois – he is a man on a mission.”

“I have to go Uyk, how can you bet against him? Dubois is a great child who has gone rapid. He is in shape and a great fighter, but Usyk is just great.”

“Dubois has to win all tools, but Usyk is a tricky customer that he has shown again and again. Dubois is a guy who may have the best chance to beat him, but you have to go with Usyk.”

“Usyk will beat dubois. The last struggle Dubois was very unhappy not to win. If Dubois can rise early doors, but he will be very aware of it, Usyk, and I think he will take his game into this fight.

“He is now beating dubois and then he will be in the history books. He is in the history books anyway, but I think he will go under as one of the greatest heavy weight it has ever been.”

“Usyk wins because he is only so much smarter. I do not rule out dubois that he hits him on the chin, but he would have to do this repeatedly and I don't feel any signs of expiry in USYK.

“Usyk is not dependent on being strong and quick – he is a clever fighter – I think he could hide the decline for a few fights and get away with it.

“He is not hit on the chin often enough to be in difficulties, and that won't happen in this fight. I think he wins after eight or nine rounds.”

“Dubois has shown great improvements in his last fights, but I would say that Usy's skills and experience will be too much for him. I think Usyk wins this for points.”

“I have to go with Usyk, he's great, isn't it? Dubois has gone, he is on a role, but you have to prefer Usyk. But who knows how dubois has been going lately.

“I saw the low blow and I have to say that it was a border. I think Usyk milked it a little, but it was close and who knows what could have happened on another day.”

“I go against the grain, but I think Dubois wins. He looked incredibly in his last fights, he is fearless, technically a very good boxer and his strength is extraordinary.

“I love Usyk and his heritage, but from the moment when this fight was announced, I thought it would be dubois.”

“It all depends on whether Usyk still has something left and the Fury fights did not take too much out of it. The question mark for me is the time of the father. If the time has not caught up with him, he will do dubois again. If not, we could see a change.”

“Logic says it will be repeated for the pound -for -pound -king Usyk, who still looked at his highest best when returning with anger -and brilliantly in the setbacks -but dubois will never have a better chance and in the form of his life -mentally and physically at 27 a.m.”
