San Marcos, Texas – Two people are dead and several people were arrested after a shootout near the Texas State University campus, according to the San Marcos police.

Around 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, the San Marcos police set up on Facebook that the officials examined a shootout near San Antonio Street and the Guadalupe Street, which “led to two confirmed deaths”.

“Several people were arrested and there is no persistent threat to the public,” said the post office.

Shortly before 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, the police said that the streets in the area were open again.
