Apple is to publish four iPhones in September (read here for the exact release date). In addition to the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will be a super thin model, which is called iPhone 17 Air. However, the thin profile has an impact when it comes to how long the battery lasts.

Since the new phone is only 5.5 mm thick from front to (even thinner than the recently released Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge), there is not much space for a large battery.

Pressing things into such a slim device as this will be difficult – and maybe only a reversing camera is expected on it, since sensors and lenses take place within the framework of the interior and outside from the outside.

iPhone 17 Air: The bad news

A new contribution to Weibo by normal leaker instant digital, which was picked up by Macrumors, states that the battery capacity will be less than 3,000 mAh.
