'Saiyaara' Tag Eins Cash: Ahaan Panday-Aneret Padda Film for a strong start in India

SaiyaaraThe main role with newcomer Ahaan Panday collected 21.25 Crore on the first day at the domestic treasury RS, the makers announced on Saturday.

The romantic drama, led by Mohit Suri and produced by YRF, has received positive reviews from critics and audiences. It also plays Anete Padda, who acted in the web series Big girls don't cry and the Kajol Star film Salaam VEKY.

The film was released in the cinemas on Friday. “Yrf & Mohit Suris Saiyaara has a historical opening for a debutant film with 21.25 Crore in India on the first day,” says a statement by the production banner.

The creators said SaiyaaraThe fact that was published in 8,000 screens is the largest opening day publication of all time for a film conducted by debutants, the career best opening for director Suri and the highest opening day for a love story.
