The DC police are looking for three men who allegedly thrown anti-transs to 43-year-old Cayla Calhoun before attacking them brutally and leaving them with serious injuries.

Calhoun, a sommelier and bartender in the Annabelle restaurant, left the work around midnight on June 29th and remained in the golden age, a nearby bar, for a quick beer, it is The lawyer.

After Calhoun had left the golden age, he ran through Georgetown and along the Rock Creek Parkway. Near the National Mall, three men appeared on scooters and began to call their anti-LGBTQ slog.

Calhoun tried to drive away, but the men followed. One pressed her from her OneWheel and sent her into a tree. She came back and tried to flee, but could not escape.

“I don't know how long it takes,” she said. “But I remember that I thought: 'I have to go.'”

Afterwards, Calhoun remembers nothing. At some point she lost consciousness.

At 6 a.m., the rescue workers Calhoun found unconscious near the 19th Street and the Avenue NW constitution. At first she said that she had fallen from her skateboard, but remembered that she was about three quarters of a mile from her found place from three men.

The police noticed the use of hate loss and led Calhoun to assume that it was sought as a transgender. It was brought to George Washington University Hospital with serious injuries, including concussion, a broken elbow, fractures around her eye socket, several broken bones and signs of strangulation.

When Calhoun woke up in the hospital, she said that her skirt was reduced and bloody, and many of her belongings were rejected by employees, of whom she believed that she confused her for a homeless person, which led to the loss of forensic evidence for the most important forensic evidence. Detectives visited her four days later, but she was still foggy in details and says that she hadn't heard of MPD since then.

An MPD spokesman said The lawyer.

Calhoun recovers long and can return to work for at least eight weeks. She has also lost fine motor skills and will probably need physiotherapy.

“I am like a two -year -old who tries to use a really small iPhone,” she said. “Grasping things, lifting things, drinking or eating – it's very tedious.”

Friends have launched a gofundme to support Calhoun in covering medicinal bills and living costs while she cannot work. The fundraiser has so far collected 22,000 US dollars.

According to Gofundme, Calhun's wallet was found in a reflective pool day later, which indicates that the attack was driven by anti-hatred rather than robberies.

Calhoun accuses right of anti-trans-rhetoric for the attack.

“The narrative written by Republicans and people like Donald Trump – the discussion points, disinformation, the flat -rate terms – is all on the board,” she said. “It is not an accident that we see more violence against transgender people. It is part of a right-wing plan.”

Calhoun said that there was a small positive result from her attack and found: “Last week it was the first time in my life that my parents described me as Cayla or used my pronouns properly.”
