Alps Fury opens this weekend

Canada's latest roller coaster in Canada opens up to the public this weekend.

Visitors can drive Alpenfury for the first time on Saturday – which extends across the park.

The 18th roller coaster of the park is invoiced as the longest, highest and fastest start -up coating in the country – a rescue style that quickly attracts the train from a standstill instead of using a lift Hill.

According to Canada's Wonderland, the experience with Alpenfury begins with the fact that the drivers “blow up drivers in Wonder Mountain”, followed by an immediate second start that sends the coaster 50 meters vertically out of the mountain.

“Alpenfury will deliver an epic, record -breaking thrill,” said Heather Hill, park manager and vice president of operations, in a release on Thursday.

“With the combination of the two starts, the straight vertical climb and nine game in versions, it offers an action -packed, unforgettable experience.”

The coaster reaches a speed of 115 km/h, and Canada's Wunderland says that its nine inversions are the largest starting trips in the world.
