Report of the sheriff of the Albany County, death of inmates

Albany, NY (Wnyt)- The Sheriff's Office of the Albany County says that 57-year-old Ray Richardson died in the correctional facility in Albany County.

You say Richardson, who was housed in the medical department, was no longer reacted to the medical department shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Friday by a correction officer and a nurse.

According to the Sheriff's office, Richardson's death does not seem to be suspicious.

CPR and other life -saving techniques were immediately carried out by Richardson by the correction staff than he no longer reacted. According to Sheriff's MPs, the life -saving measures were taken over by Colonie Ems on arrival.

Despite life -saving efforts, Richardson was declared dead by Colonia Ems.

The Sheriff's office said that Richardson's death had been reported to the Attorney General of the New York General Prosecutor (AG), as they do with all deaths that are in custody during one person. The AG's office reacted to Richardson's death together with the deputies of the sheriff.

An autopsy is planned on Monday morning, July 21.
