Authorities who examine the death of a Canadian woman at the Belgian music festival – National

The Belgian authorities examine the death of a Canadian woman who, according to the organizer in Tomorrowland, one of the world's largest electronic music festivals.

The 35-year-old woman was uncomfortable on Friday at the opening evening of the event in the city boom, about 35 kilometers south of Antwerp, on the festival site, said the spokeswoman for Tomorrowland, Debby Wilmsen, in a statement that was sent to global news.

The woman received an immediate first aid and was taken to the University Hospital of Antwerp, where she later died.

Wilmsen expressed condolences for the family, friends and relatives of the woman and also said that the public prosecutor's office is examined by Antwerp Prosecutor and provides updates.

The Tomorowland Festival takes place annually in Boom. This year's event is expected to welcome around 400,000 people on the weekends from July 18 to 20 and from July 25th to 27th.

A huge fire badly damaged the main level two days before the opening of this year's festival and left doubts about whether it would go on. But the location opened on time with an alternative stage under construction. This phase was opened to the public just two hours later, the organizers said.
