Suspicious injured in Cullman County Officer-Unvolorved shoot


Cullman, Ala. (Whnt) – To meet an arrest warrant, said the Cullman County's sheriff that a person was shot on Saturday morning.

According to CCSO, MPs tried to meet an arrest warrant in the Bethel community. The suspect was armed when the MPs arrived.

The sheriff's office said that shots broke out after a short verbal exchange and the suspect was hit.

The MPs then provided first aid until the medical rescue staff arrived at the scene. The suspect was then taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The Sheriff's office said this was an isolated incident and there is no persistent threat to the community.

The examination is still active and CCSO said that further information would be published as soon as you are available.
