The state police examined the death of the inmate in West Maryland prison

The Maryland State Police initiated an investigation into the death of a 30-year-old man who was imprisoned at the North Branch Correctional Institution in Allegany County.

The 30 -year -old Elias Alvarado was declared dead by first aiders on Friday.

Another inmate that was not accused and the police did not name are a suspect in connection with his death. You hold back this information until further examination.

The police said that Alvarado was last seen how he was at the level of the prison with another man in which he lived before the officials found him on site.

The police did not say what could have caused his death.

The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services Internal Investigative Unit contacted the state police on Friday to report Alvarado's death.
