July 19 (Upi) – The YouTube Influencer Jon Proser allegedly violated the rights to the intellectual property of Apple by illegally accessing and releasing the iOS 26 operating system of the Tech company before it was introduced.

ProSser and co-accused Michael Ramacciotti allegedly misused business secrets and violated the law on computer fraud and abuse, Apple says in a federal action submitted on Thursday before the US district court for Northern California.

Apple announced its iOS 26 operating system on June 9th during its global developer conference, but says that ProSser published important details two months earlier.

The YouTube channel from Proser, “Home Tech”, often predicts the tech starts of consumer goods, including the popular Apple products.

Apple said that he and Ramacciotti “had collapsed to an iPhone of Apple Development, steal the business secrets of Apple and benefit from the theft,” said Wired on Friday.

“ProSser, who worked with the accused Michael Ramacciotti, did not properly include the extremely confidential, unpublished software designs from Apple, including details on the unpublished iOS 19 operating system, which is now known as iOS 26, for Apple Mobile Devices,” says Apple in the lawsuit.

Apple accuses the conspiratorial to penetrate the development of Apple employees Ethan Lipnik's development -iPhone in order to obtain Apple's trade secrets. Lipnik worked for Apple from 2023 to 2025 when Apple ended because of the leak, Business Insider reported.

The technology company says it received an anonymous tip on April 4 that accused either ProSser or Ramacciotti, who participated with Lipnik Wohnen, to include the Apple employee in a Facetime call in which the outstanding iOS 26 publication was discussed.

The operating system that was unpublished at this time was known as iOS 19 among Apple employees.

The anonymous tip says that ProSser received details on the lock screen of the unpublished operating system, the start screen, the app animations and the app interfaces.

It also means that ProSser had a video of the Facetime call that shows the unique interface of the operating system.

Apple claims that ProSser learned that Ramacciotti needed money and was directed with Lipnik, who worked on the unpublished operating system.

ProSser and Ramacciotti “planned to be able to access Apple owned by Apple via the iPhone of Mr. Lipnik in Apple,” says Apple.

The technology company also says that Lipnik made it available with an Audio message from Ramacciotti who claimed that he used the location tracking to find out when Lipnik would have disappeared for a longer period of time.

According to Apple, the news indicates that Ramacciotti Lipniks has acquired Passcode and “broke into its development -iPhone”, which Lipnik did not properly secure according to the company guidelines.

“As he explained in the AudionaCHAUCH, Mr. Ramacciotti made Mr. Proser a video call and 'showed' [the] IOS 'on the development iPhone, ”claims Apple.

“He showed several functions and applications and disclosed details of the unpublished iOS 19 operating system,” says Apple.

Proser denies Apple's claims against him.

“So the situation did not end at my end,” said Proser on Thursday in an X -Post.

“I didn't” plant “to access someone's phone,” continued Proser. “I had no passwords. I was not aware of how the information was obtained.”

ProSser said he was looking forward to “talking to Apple about it”.

According to Apple, it has increased financial losses of more than $ 5,000 over a year and requested monetary and punitive damage in the amounts plus the negotiations plus interest.

It is also looking for an interim relief to post Prosser and Ramacciotti's alleged publication of Apple's business secrets to third parties without written consent and to return Apple to locate and destroy all business secrets that could remain under their control.
