Man, 22, fatal in the East Garfield Park

A man was fatally shot at the East Garfield Park on Friday evening.

The 22-year-old stood out in the 2800 block of West Arthington Street when someone went near shots, the Chicago police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound on his upper body and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was declared dead, the police said.

Nobody is in custody and detectives from Area 4.
