Dubois (22-2, 21 KOS) was defeated by USYK in his first title attempt in 2023. However, the loss came with considerable controversy, since a blow that landed in the fifth round of Dubois believed, despite a significant part of the boxing community, believed that the shot was a legitimate strike. The Brit has been a revelation since then and achieved victories against Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua and the last two as outsiders.
