The doctor in Südflorida, who is charged with shooting the ex-wife

A doctor in Südflorida was arrested in connection with the death of his ex-wife at the beginning of this week.

Richard Seith, an ophthalmologist with an office in Stuart on the Atlantic coast of Florida, was custody in his residence in Martin County late Friday evening.

The 53-year-old optician is accused of having fatally shot his ex-wife Cynthia “Cindi” Sciarrone Seith on Tuesday morning, just two days before her 55th birthday.

The long -time flight attendant of Spirit Airlines was found dead in front of her condominium at Lake Worth Beach at 3 a.m., the Palm Beach Post reported.

According to the local ABC partner WPBF, she was still wearing her work uniform when she was shot down.

Cindi Seith applied for a divorce in 2024, and the separation of the couple was completed two months ago, according to Martin County, cited by the Südflorida Sun-Sentinel.

An investigation by Cindi's death led Detectives to her ex-husband, who was instructed in the prison of Palm Beach County because of the first degree murder. The authorities have not yet said what evidence has associated him with the crime.
