In a recent appearance in the overdogs podcast, TJ Dillashaw gave his thoughts about the upcoming title fight in the middleweight.

The former UFC Bantamweight Champion recently posted a photo of him that stood alongside Khamzat Chimaev during the Challeng's Training Camp.

Dillashaw admitted during the podcast that he originally predicted that Dricus du Plessis would successfully defend the belt due to his superior cardio.

However, his attitude was changed after introducing Chimaev to a person who had a big impact on his own career.

Both Chimaev and Arman Tsarukyan recently worked in Trenkigning Lab under Sam Calavita, which was significantly involved in changing Dillashaw's approach to strength and conditioning.

“I met him and introduced him to this guy, Sam Calavitta … So Chimaev is doing it right now and I really suspect that he will have an amazingly better guest tank for his next fight, and I think he will acquire victory because of this.
