Francisco Prado aims to save the UFC career by quickly excluding UFC 318

Francisco Prado knows how important a victory at UFC 318 is.

The Argentine looks like Nikolay Veretnikov in the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans in front of a duel strip and a 1-3 run against Nikolay Veretnikov. A third defeat in a row could mean the end of his UFC run, which Prado is trying to avoid at all costs.

“Of course I thought about it,” said Prado Hablemos MMA in Spanish and thought about his career. “It is very important for me to achieve the result this weekend, and that's why I worked so hard in this camp – what I will show. I feel great, well prepared and the result comes.”

Prado (12-3 MMA, 1-3 UFC) likes the Matchup with Veretennikov (12-6 MMA, 0-2 UFC), which is also a striker. The 23-year-old is not afraid to call his shot and said he was expecting a quick end in Fight Night.

“I'll give everything this weekend,” said Prado. “I know that this guy is a striker and we will see if he wants to strike. I go after him and expect him in the first round.”

Prado fought with £ 155 against most of his career. In his last fight against Jake Matthews, however, Prado went into the world weight. Prado does not expect that he will soon sink and believes that the world weight will be his home, even though he starts his run with £ 170 with a loss.

“Goodbye, 155,” said Prado. “I feel great in this weight class and I think I'll stay here for a long time.

“The truth is that it is much healthier for me. What affected me the most.
