At least 34 people are dead after a sudden thunderstorm had applied for a tourist boat in Vietnam, according to local reports on Saturday.

The ship called Wonder Seas wore 48 passengers and five crew members during a sightseeing excursion from HA Long Bay, a popular destination for visitors, as the reports cited by The Associated Press.

Rescue workers saved 11 people and recovered the dead near the Capsia town, said Vnexpress newspaper. Search teams are desperately looking for the missing victims of the disaster.
