The number of fatalities in the Gaza approaches 59,000 when Israeli armed forces beat the enclave

At least 30 Palestinians across Gaza were killed in Israeli attacks on Friday. Since the number of fatalities in the enclave approaches 59,000, the United Nations General Assembly takes on a resolution that Israel asks to end its illegal occupation of the Palestinian areas within one year.

Doctors in Gaza, who tried to react to overwhelming losses and needs in a decimated health system, complain that they are forced to first decide who should be treated first, and often leaves patients with life -threatening diseases and chronic illnesses without care.

They confirmed at least 30 deaths since dusts on Friday when the Israeli armed forces beat the city of Ostgaza, northern Gaza Strip and a warehouse for displaced people in the south of the enclave.

The victims include seven people who desperately searched for help. Among the injured were many children whose wounds were reportedly compatible with drone rocket attacks, of which witnesses with nails, metals and splinters explode at high speed and people in large crowds, in markets or queues for water.

UN General Assembly Resolution

In a step that was celebrated by the Palestinian authority as “historical”, the United Nations General Assembly mainly passed a resolution that Israel asked to end its illegal occupation of the Palestinian areas within one year.

The non -binding measure was exceeded with 124 votes against 14 and 43 counties.

The assembly also asked Israel to make the Palestinians for damage caused by the occupation.

The resolution takes place according to a court ruling in July of the International Court of Justice, which stated that Israel abuses its status as an occupational power and that Israeli settlements in West Bank and East Jerusalem are illegal.

But even the ICC judgment, which ordered Israel to take steps to prevent genocide in the Gaza Strip and enable adequate humanitarian aid into the territory, seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
