The number of fatalities in South Korea in the middle of heavy rain increases

Pulled rains that South Korea struck for five days have missed 14 people and 12 others, according to the government.

Eight people were found dead, and six others were reported in the southern town of Sancheong after the landslide, house roasts and fall floods collapsed there.

One person was killed after their house collapsed during the heavy rain, and another person was found dead after being swept away by floods, the Ministry of Interior and Security said.

In a ministry, six people in Gapyeong and the southern city of Gwangju continue to be missing.

At the beginning of last week, three people were found dead in a underked car, and one person was also killed after collapsing in Osan, south of Seoul, during a heavy rain in Osan.

Around 3,840 people remain evacuated from their houses, the ministry report says.

In some areas, the cattle were stranded in rising waters to their neck.

The rain stopped in South Korea on Sunday, and heavy rain warnings were lifted across the country, the ministry officers said.

The rain will probably follow a heat wave, said the state weather forecast.

According to the Ministry, the southern regions have received up to 600-800 millimeter rain since Wednesday.
