Laws that accuses Shannon Sharpe for sexual attacks, says lawyer, says lawyer

The Pro Football Hall of Fame member Shannon Sharpe has decided a lawsuit that accused him of having sexually attacked a woman during her relationship, her lawyer said on Friday.

“All matters have now been addressed satisfactorily and the matter is closed. The lawsuit is thus rejected with prejudices,” said Tony Buzbee on X, which means that the lawsuit cannot be repeated.

No details were published. The lawsuit submitted as part of the pseudonym Jane Doe had been looking for $ 50 million.

Sharpe called the allegations “wrong and annoying” when the lawsuit was submitted in April in Clark County, Nevada. He resigned from work at ESPN on April 24, but had undertaken to return at the beginning of the NFL pre -season.

A phone message that Sharpe's lawyer David Chesnoff was looking for was immediately returned on Friday.

The woman met Sharpe for the first time in a gym in Los Angeles in 2023 when she was 20 years old and, according to the lawsuit, followed an almost two -year relationship. Sharpe, 57, was accused of raping the woman in October 2024 and January.

“Both sides recognize a long -term consensual and turbulent relationship,” said Buzbee, who also represented a number of women who submitted complaint against the quarterback of the Cleveland Brown Deshaun Watson. “After lengthy and respectful negotiations, I am pleased to be able to tell you that we have achieved a mutually agreed solution.”

Sharpe was a four-time end of all, which played in two Super Bowl winners with Denver and one with Baltimore in 14 seasons from 1990 to 2003. He was voted Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

As a NFL leader of the NFL, he retired under narrow ends (815) and received yards (10,060) and touchdowns (62). These records were broken.

Sharpe has been a staple on TV and on social media since retirement. He left FS1's sports debat show “undisputed” in 2023 and came to ESPN shortly afterwards.
