Tsunami o'clock for Hawaii

(Bivn) – A tsunami clock was exhibited for the state of Hawaiʻi on Saturday evening after a large earthquake off the east coast of Russia at 8.49 p.m. HST.

“Based on all available data, a tsunami may have been created by this earthquake, which could also be destructive in coastal areas,” said the Pacific Tsunami warning center. “An investigation is underway to determine whether Hawaii exists a tsunami threat.”

The emergency officials said that if Tsunami waves influence Hawaii, the estimated earliest arrival of the first Tsunami wave on Sunday, July 20, 2:43 a.m. HST.
