Young leads it and Mariner's Top Astros in 11 Innings

Seattle (AP)-The second Baseman of Rookie Cole Young achieved a single-off single in the 11th Inning to give the Seattle Mariners a 7: 6 victory over the Houston Astros on Saturday evening.

Young, who also had the choice of a game to choose from in the 11th Inning of his debut of the Major League, delivered more late night theater in the Emerald City. Only a few weeks shy of his 22nd birthday, Young went under the zone to drive a splinter from Reliever Hector Neris (3-2) into the right field and to achieve an automatic runner Dominic Canzone from the third basis.

Although the Mariners took the lead 4-1 after only three inners, their advantage disappeared when Seattle-Reliever Carlos Vargas lost control of his sink in the sixth.

He burst two batteries, first Brice Matthews and then Zack Short, which led to both benches were issued. Shortly afterwards, Jose Altuve, Victor Caratini and Christian Walker added all RBI singles to bring the Astros 5: 4.

Thanks to a random jump, the Mariners rose in eighth place. The Astros reliever Bryan Abreu got out of a slider and had Randy Arozarena effortlessly scored a goal from the third basis on the Wilden field and ultimately force additional innings.

The teams exchanged runs in the 10th before Eduard Bazardo (4-0) threw a goalless inning to set the stage for Young.

Key moment

Miles Mastrobuoni placed a great victim in front of Young's playful single to bring Canzone to third place. Mastrobuoni and teammate Jorge Polanco have carried out both textbook victims in additional innings.

Key

Young is the first Mariners player 21 or younger with a walk-off hit since Alex Rodriguez on March 31, 1996 against Chicago White Sox.
