Woman dead, man and child critically in possible murder self-murder of Queens: sources

A woman is dead and a man and a toddler cling to what the police are investigating on Saturday evening in Queens as a murder self-murder in Queens, said police sources.

The police answered a 911 call of an attack at 7:09 p.m. near Forest Ave. And the Menahan St. in Ridgewood, where she found a 54-year-old man with stab wounds on the chest in an apartment, a 41-year-old woman with several stab wounds on her chest and a 3-year-old girl, also with gunshot wounds who are on her chest and neck.

The man and the woman were both brought to the Elmhurst Hospital Center in a critical condition. The woman later died of her injuries.

The toddler was brought to the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where it was also listed in critical condition.

It was unclear what the brutal multiple sting triggered. There were no arrests. The police investigated the incident as a murder self-murder, said sources.
